Hunter Education Program
The Apple Valley Gun Club hosts the California Department of Fish and Game Hunter Education Program. Classes are scheduled monthly, normally on the third Saturday of each month. For more information, download our latest flier here: AVGC Hunter ED This course is an Internet supported, four hour class. In order to register, contact the instructors on the flier, then take the course prework at: http://homestudy.ihea.com/ The Internet pre-course is free. The instructors will also meet with you prior to the class to give you a Today's Hunter in California workbook and some other study materials. Once you have completed the pre-work course, download your test results, complete your workbook, and attend our next four hour test session. The test session is free of charge. Also, contact the instructors for upcoming Department of Fish and Game Advanced Clinics.
International Bowhunter Education Program
There will be and IBEP Bowhunting Class and Field Day on Jan. 19th & 20th 2013. You must take the online Bowhunting course if you do not attend the Classroom portion on the 19th. Everyone must take the IBEP Bowhunting Field day on the 20th from 0900 – approx. 1 pm. See the website for more - http://www.bowsite.com/
