APPLE VALLEY GUN CLUB

  • A safe and legal place to shoot. Events and range activities are monitored by NRA certified Range Safety Officers and Coaches. This eliminates worries about shooting in a prohibited area or endangering other recreational activities, as well as shooting around others who are not safe, responsible and knowledgeable.

  • A place to learn the safe and responsible handling of firearms. We offer NRA certified training in safe firearms handling, as well as the California Hunter Education Program.

  • You do not have to be a club member to use the facility. During any scheduled event you may come out and join in the activity. Events listed on the calendar are open to the public. The front gate will be open during those times. Please come out, come directly to the range and check in with the event manager.

  • We have special events for youngsters. We have indoor .22 caliber rifle shoots for ages 5 to 18 every 1st and 3rd Thursday evenings at 6:00pm. Rifles are provided along with all other gear. Cost is only $2.00 for ammunition. This is a NRA certified small bore marksmanship program taught by certified NRA coaches. New shooters are encouraged to attend the Introduction session held at 6:00pm every second Thursday of the month. At this session, shooters who are new to shooting or new to our program will receive a detailed safety orientation and introduction to the rifles and indoor range.

  • Junior Trap is Wednesday nights at 6:00 PM, shooters must be under 18 years of age and bring 12 gauge or 20 gauge shells and the club will provide the shotgun. Of course you may bring your own shotgun and the ammunition that fits. On Thursday nights at 7:00 PM adults and juniors can shoot Trap.
